Terms and conditions of purchase

Contracting parties.

When you purchase any items through any of the Site you will be contracting with cloakrooms.co.uk, which is referred to in these terms and conditions as 'we' 'us' or 'our'. The cloakrooms.co.uk trading address is:

Availability.

Where possible we will endeavour to source all products or merchandise ordered from our suppliers. If an item is unavailable for whatever reason, we will contact you and let you know when we anticipate that the item will become available and ask you whether you still wish us to fulfil your order in part or whether you would like us to cancel your order (in which case we will refund any monies paid by you). You will also be able to split any order on the Site.


Description.

We try to ensure that all of the items shown on the Site are accurately described however slight variations in colour should be expected in respect of clothing and other merchandise. 

Provision of information.

You agree to provide true, accurate and complete information about yourself whenever you register or order any items from us. When you order any items from us you will need to provide us with your name, address, e-mail address and credit card details. Whenever you make a purchase an account will be set up for you. You can provide more information about yourself to allow us to better serve you with products and content. We will use these details in accordance with our privacy policy. Security Policy.

cloakrooms.co.uk uses the latest 128bit encryption technology to keep your credit card and personal information safe. When making a purchase at cloakrooms.co.uk, you are protected using SSL encryption – the Internet standard for secure transactions. If you prefer, you can telephone or fax your order and credit card information to us. Your order information, order history and order tracking are further protected by the combination of your username and password. If you forget your password we will verify your identity and send your password details to the default email account specified in your personal profile. 

Pricing.

The final payment will be based on the price in pounds sterling. Prices quoted include any VAT that may be due as a result of any order that you make, and include delivery charges. In the event that you order an item and the price published on the Site was incorrect for any reason we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish us to fulfil your order at this price. 

Payment.

You may pay for your order in any of the following ways: 
on-line by using most major credit and debit cards; 
by phoning our Hotline on 01283 814 588 
by post by sending full details of the items you wish to order and a cheque or other payment method that can be drawn upon by UK banks. You may need to contact us for shipping costs. 

Delivery.

We deliver to all countries listed on the web Site delivery information page(s). We will deliver your order to the address you provide to us when completing the purchasing process so please ensure that this address is correct. We will endeavour to dispatch your order within 48 business hours and will notify you if your order will be delayed for a material time for any reason. In certain cases, especially where the order involves handmade, specialist or rare items, we rely on certain companies to source product for orders and the delivery of your order may be affected by their delay, howsoever caused. In all cases your order will be delivered within 30 days unless we notify you otherwise. You will be notified of any delivery charges when you place your order. 

All deliveries are carried out by a one-person delivery. If necessary, you or your agent should be able to provide assistance to the driver in carrying the goods from the delivery vehicle to your requested point of delivery. cloakrooms.co.uk shall not be liable to you or your agent for any injury, loss, damages, costs, expenses, claims, actions, proceedings, compensation or for any loss of profit or any indirect, special or consequential loss, which arise out of or in connection with the delivery of any goods delivered to you or your agent.


Right to cancel, Returns and Refunds.

We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from cloakrooms.co.uk. It is our aim to offer both value and quality. 

If, for any reason, you are not totally satisfied you have the right to cancel. Distance selling regulations allows for you to cancel the contract known as the '7 day cooling off period'. You do not require a reason to do this. Please contact us within this period to inform us of the cancellation. The cancellation must be in written form, fax or email is acceptable, a phone call is not enough. Please note that if an order is cancelled when an item has already been despatched, no refund can be made for any of the delivery charges incurred.

We cannot refund any personalised item - eg engraved, unless the product is faulty.
Goods must be returned in an unused and resaleable condition including all items in the original sale. We can offer a replacement if required or refund you as soon as possible.


RETURNING UNDAMAGED GOODS:

Contact cloakrooms.co.uk before returning goods. We will advise the best way to return the items to us. For smaller more manageable items, it is usually most efficient to send items by recorded post. You will be responsible for the return costs and its safe arrival to us. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage so please ensure it is sent by recorded delivery and appropriately insured. For larger items we will make arrangements with our chosen courier to collect the goods. Customers are responsible for the goods until collected. It is the customers responsibility to make goods readily available for collection.

We will only accept goods that are in an "as new" condition and are returned complete with all items included in the original sale. If any items are missing in the original sale we will deduct the costs from the refund due.

Goods must be adequately packaged to prevent damage occurring during transit, and must have the Return Authorisation Number clearly marked on the outside of all packages.

cloakrooms.co.uk do not accept liability for goods damaged during return transit. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery. You are advised to send goods by registered post or courier and have sufficient insurance to cover the value of the goods. Customers are responsible for return delivery costs.


RETURNING DAMAGED/FAULTY GOODS:

If you receive goods that have been damaged in transit or appear to be faulty please contact us within 28 days to arrange for a collection of the goods, and then to arrange a replacement or refund. 

Customers are responsible for the goods until collected. It is the customers responsibility to make goods readily available for collection.

Where a replacement is required we will try to arrange to replace the item at the same time as collecting the faulty or damaged item. If no replacement is required you will recieve a full refund of the items including any delivery costs.

Code of Conduct.

Not all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages, advice, statements or other materials ('Content'), publicly posted or privately transmitted via the Site is the sole responsibility of cloakrooms.co.uk. If you choose to publicly post Content on, for example, a product review, you, and not cloakrooms.co.uk, are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, email or otherwise transmit via the Site. cloakrooms.co.uk does not control all of the Content posted on the Site and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. You understand that by using the Site, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Under no circumstances will cloakrooms.co.uk be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any Content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed or otherwise transmitted via the Site. You acknowledge that cloakrooms.co.uk does not pre-screen Content, but that cloakrooms.co.uk and its designees shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse, amend, remove or move any Content that is available via the Site.
